This squad is made up of cheerleaders who are 4 & 5 years old. They represent Taylor Elite in the Tiny All-Star division. Candidates for this squad must be able to follow directions and maintain an adequate attention span for practices. This part of our program is set up to introduce cheerleaders to the competition scene. Classes are designed to teach basic cheer technique, basic stunting, dancing with 8 counts and tumbling. We expect cheerleaders on this team to have an improved self-image and sense of teamwork by the end of the season. This team has a limited travel competition schedule.
TWINKLE STARS (click here)
Girls who are 8 years old and under are what make up this squad. They represent Taylor Elite in the Mini All-Star division. This is a more advanced squad that should be considered by only those that can be serious about practice and attendance. Round-offs and back handsprings are a big plus for this team. Although they are not required. Classes are designed to teach a more intermediate level of cheerleading technique, stunting, dancing and tumbling. Dedication and hard work are cornerstone traits for this squad.
SHOOTING STARS (click here)
This team is made up of girls who are 14 years old and under. They represent Taylor Elite in the Junior All-Star division. Standing back handspring and round-off back handspring are strongly suggested for this team, tucks are a plus. Classes are designed to teach advanced cheerleading and stunt techniques, dance and tumbling that centers around back handsprings and tucks. A strong sense of teamwork is a must for this team as well as attendance. Only the serious need apply.
SUPER STARS (click here)
Our senior team is composed of girls and guys ages 18 and under. They represent Taylor Elite in the Senior All-Star division. Back handsprings are strongly suggested for this team; tucks are a plus. Classes are designed to improve on advanced stunts, dance and tumbling skills. Attendance and a positive attitude are necessities to be a member of this team!!
